• The establishment of inter house competitions so participation for all. 100% of KS1 and KS2 participated in an inter house competition this year.
• Established and maintained the morning laps in partnership with active travel and encouraging movement before the start of the school day. All children are able to participate.
• Free after-school sports clubs are reinstated, offering a range of inclusive sports and activities and targeted to encourage the participation of the least active children by not always being a competitive, structured sport.
• Sports clubs are available with sports that are not part of our curriculum offer.
• Sensory circuits as a physical start to the day and to regulate children with additional needs.
• An extracurricular programme worked towards an equal access award to ensure participation equally of boys and girls.
• Maintained high local school competition entry.
• Sport was identified as a strength in OFSTED 2026 and used effectively to build leadership opportunities for pupils.
